How does a heated jacket work?

Our heated jackets work by warming your core, then letting that heat spread out to your hands and feet. Carbon-fiber panels in the chest and back do the heating, powered by a slim rechargeable battery you control with a button or the free MW Connect app on Bluetooth models. There is no bulky liner, so the jacket stays light and easy to layer.

How warm do heated jackets get?

You get four heat levels, from about 90°F on low up to 135°F on high, so you can match the setting to the day. Low takes the edge off on a cool morning, while high pushes real heat across your core for deep cold. Most people settle in the middle and adjust as the weather shifts.

Should you choose the men's or women's version?

Go by fit, since the heat system, settings, and battery are identical on both. The cut and panel placement are the only real differences, shaped to sit right on each body. Compare our men's heated jackets and women's heated jackets and pick the size you normally wear.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 13 hours on low from the larger 7.4-volt packs, and about 2 to 3 hours on high, with the smaller batteries landing a bit lower. A spare battery doubles your time in the field, and charging fully the night before means you start every outing topped off.
