Choosing between the men's and women's heated mid layer comes down to fit. The panels, settings, and battery are the same, and only the cut changes. Compare our men's heated mid layers and women's heated mid layers and pick your usual size. A snug mid layer traps heat better under a shell, so lean toward your true size rather than sizing up.
How long does the battery last?
Our heated mid layer lasts up to 9 hours on low, and about 2 to 3 hours on high. Run it low under a shell and it easily lasts a day of cold-weather activity. A spare battery covers the longest outings. A recharge takes about 4 to 5 hours, so a night on the charger has it ready.
